Just wanted to drop you a note telling
you how much we appreciate your outstanding training of our American Bulldog,
"Henry."
As we discussed, I think I waited too long to get him trained. As a result,
he ended up being a very difficult dog to handle. (Not his fault). We
spoiled him at home too much. This happened even though I tried all of
the training methods I knew. As you could tell, my training didn't work.
Your training of Henry, and more importantly, myself, (how to handle him)
has made Henry just a great dog. I could not ask for a better pet, as
he understands the commands you trained me to do. In fact, you saved Henry's
life with your training. I feel if anybody wants their dog trained, I
would highly recommend you to them. Many many thanks and appreciation
for your patience and knowledge in training Henry and me, so we can now

As Practice Administrator of Blum Animal Hospital, I was responsible for compiling references for the trainers interested in being on our referral list. Jo-Ann DeAngelo's recommendations were always spectacular. When I started training my Labrador puppy, I called Jo-Ann immediately. I was amazed at how quickly she transformed my unruly puppy into a perfectly behaved companion. Our experience with Jo-Ann was everything
we had hoped for and more. Our previous dog had been trained elsewhere
by taking him to traditional human/dog weekly training classes--while
it helped, it never quite stuck. With Jo-Ann's intensive and thorough
training, our current dog, Dexter, is now very well trained and he hasn't
lost any of his skills.
It is clear that he was very well loved and cared for. Jo-Ann and her
staff treated Dexter like one of their own. Whenever we go back for a
follow-up class, he gets so excited!
The training is also an incredible value, especially because of the unlimited
follow-up training that's included. Jo-Ann wants you and your dog to succeed.
I learn something new at every lesson I attend. I think Dexter knows everything
already--it's just me who needs the training at this point!

As our sweet little ball o'fur
developed into an oversized rambunctious lovingly playful GIANT of puppy
at 120lbs., we needed help. Big help!
During our neighborhood walks and while meeting fellow four legged playmates,
I learned of a highly experienced, well-respected dog trainer whose technique
was recommended by many.
As Harry matured into a wonderful and ever so large dog, a friend offered
to watch him while I was away. Harry matured to a point of an unmanageable
behemoth! He took my friend down and continued to tour the neighborhood
with her dragging behind on her belly and elbows!
However, since Harry's training with Jo-Ann, he has become such a wonderful
companion, obedient, sensitive and responsive, a perfect gentleman.
